Wilson was driving, a 1997 Ford Taurus, southbound on I-435, in the left (inside) lane when "for unknown reason, vehicle drifted" off of the road into the grassy median, struck a large bump and became airborne. The vehicle then struck a center median bridge pillar. Niquetta Wilson was pronounced deceased on the scene.
