Overland Park Police are investigating an armed robbery at a local business this morning.
Police were called to the La Quinta Inn & Suites, 10610 Marty Street, at 12:55 a.m.. The clerk told officers that two men armed with black handguns had robbed the business.
The suspects allegedly forced the clerk to the floor and took money from the cash register before fleeing the scene.
Police say there was possibly a third male involved in the robbery. All three possible suspects are described as black males in their early 20's wearing dark colored hoodies. One of the men was said to be wearing thick black rimmed glasses. Two of the suspects were armed with semi-automatic handguns.
No injuries were reported.
Officers continue to investigate and no other details were immediately available.
