Police are investigating after three Kansas Walmart stores report receiving threats early Sunday morning.
The first call was reported to Police by the Lawrence Walmart at 550 Congressional Drive at 2:27 a.m.. The other Walmart in Lawrence, located at 3300 Iowa Street, reported a similar phone call at 2:27 a.m.. Lawrence Police will only say that incidents remain under investigation and that nothing dangerous was found at either location.
Shortly after 4 a.m., Leavenworth Police responded to the Walmart located at 5000 10th Avenue after a threats call was received. Again, Police are only saying that the incident remains under investigation and that nothing of out of the ordinary was located.
All three stores remain open for business this morning.

Authorities across Missouri responded on similar threats Friday to eight Walmart stores. One Walmart store in Claremore, Oklahoma was closed for a time on Wednesday after receiving a similar threat. All of the incidents remain under investigation.
