Olathe Police seek public's assistance

Olathe Police are seeking the public's assistance with the investigation of a business burglary.

Police say at 2:15 a.m. on July 1, 2012, Officers responded to Alpha Pawn at 115 S. Clairborne Road #F, on a business alarm. Officers found the front window of the business was broken out and the business had been burglarized.

Video surveillance revealed the suspect broke out a glass showcase and removed six firearms. Investigators believe the suspect fled from the business on foot and possibly in a vehicle parked in a nearby parking lot.

The suspect is described as being a heavy set Hispanic male, in his late teens/early twenties with short dark hair. He was wearing long shorts, white tennis shoes and no shirt.
