JCCC: Indecent exposure reported on campus


Johnson County Community College issued a "Campus Alert" Tuesday afternoon after receiving a report of a man that had exposed himself to a student as she was walking to the Classroom Laboratory Building "CLB".

Campus Police say that around 9:15 a.m. the unknown man, in a vehicle, followed the female student. He then pulled the vehicle up beside the female, gaining her attention he exposed himself to her. She continued to walk and the man drove away.


The male suspect is described as a white male with a full beard in his mid-20's. His vehicle was described as a silver Toyota with unknown license plate information.

The incident was not reported to Campus Police until around 11:45 a.m. and the "Campus Alert" was issued about an hour later.

Campus Police remind students to remain aware of their surroundings and state that JCCC Police are available to escort you to your vehicle on campus.
