Police and fire crews were dispatched at 4:12 a.m., Wednesday, after a 9-1-1 caller reported a fire in the home's garage.
Olathe Police officers arrived to report that the three residents of the home had made it safely to the front yard. A resident told officers several propane tanks are stored inside the garage.

A car inside the garage also caught fire and was heavily damaged.
Fire officials say it took about an for the fire to be extinguished. An issue with the home's electrical wiring is believed to have been the cause of the fire. Damages are estimated at $200,000.
No injuries were reported. Three adults and three dogs were able to safely exit the home after being alerted by smoke detectors. Officials say the displaced family will be staying at an area hotel until other arraignments can be made.
The Lenexa Fire Department and Johnson County Med-Act also assisted on the call.
