Two people are critical after a rollover accident

Two people were critically injured when their vehicle left the roadway and rolled over. The vehicle came to rest on its roof in a creek.

The accident was reported shortly before 3:15 a.m. in the 25800 block of Hospital Drive in Hillsdale Township.

Fire crews from Johnson County Fire District No. 2 reported two people were injured and both were in critical condition.

A LifeFlight Eagle helicopter responded to the scene and transporting one of the injured from the scene to a Kansas City trauma center. The second person was transported by Miami County EMS to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
