Overland Park Police were called to the area of W. 102nd Street and Antioch Road shortly before 2 a.m. Friday to check on a report from a passing motorist of a possible water main break. The arriving officer reported that there was water coming from under the pavement and that it had caused a section of the roadway to become impassable. As of 4:30 a.m., the roadway has since partially reopened. There is currently only one lane of traffic in each direction getting through the stretch

The work is expected to last until around 10 a.m.. Drivers in the area should expect delays and congested traffic.
