Shawnee Police confirm the child has been located safely at his home in Kansas City, Kansas.

Shawnee Police say they were called to Bluejacket Flint Elementary school, 11615 W. 49th Terrace, around nine this morning in reference to a missing child. The child reportedly walked away from the school.The school is located on W. 49th Terrace between Quivira and Nieman roads.
Police say the child is an 11-year-old, white male, approximately five feet tall and weighing approximately 100lbs, with blond hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black The NorthFace jacket and carrying an orange and gray backpack with matching orange and gray Nike tennis shoes.
The child is believed to live in southern Kansas City, Kansas and may be walking home.
