2012 Tidy Town information
The City of Shawnee has announced the dates for the City's Large Item Pick-up, known as Tidy Town.
For residents who live to the east of Pflumm Road, Saturday, April 30th.
For residents who live to the west of Pflumm Road, Saturday, May 7th.
Your trash hauler is responsible for pick up of these items and the service is included in your basic rate. If you have any questions about what your hauler will and will not pick up please contact them directly.
Please note: Hazardous materials such as car batteries, paints, solvents or liquid waste will not be collected. For disposal of these types of items, call Johnson County Environmental to schedule an appointment to drop off your items at their facility. ALL drop offs are by appointment only. Call 913-715-6900 or for TDD call 1-800-766-3777.
