Amber Alert canceled after missing 16-year-old is located

UPDATE: Leavenworth County authorities confirm that the Amber Alert for 16-year-old, Jenna Marie Hord has been canceled. Police say a citizen in Hiawatha, Kansas spotted a vehicle, matching the description given in the Amber Alert, and called Police.

Local Police responded and located both Jenna Marie Hord and Logan Burris. As of this report, both subjects are being questioned by Police regarding the incident. Authorities will only say that both are safe, no other details are currently available.

An Amber Alert has been issued for 16-year-old Jenna Marie Hord of Leavenworth, Kansas.

Authorities say Jenna is a white female, standing 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs approximately 135lbs with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen on July 4, 2012 at 2004 Spruce in Leavenworth, Kansas. She has a tattoo on her right upper chest and was last seen wearing blue or black tank top, denim shorts and tennis shoes.

A family friend tells Operation 100 News that "Jenna was forced into a vehicle by her abusive ex boyfriend around 9p.m. Wednesday." A Facebook group has also been created to support the effort.

The suspect is 17-year-old, Logan Burris, a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 130lbs, with hazel eyes and brown hair. He is believed to be driving a white 1996 Toyota Camry 2-door with Kansas license plate 168DHH.

3-year-old Kansas boy found safe after Amber Alert

Update: Authorities say 3-year-old Anthony Lopez and his non-custodial Father, Francisco Lopez, were both located near Arkansas City, Kansas early Sunday evening. Lopez has been taken into Police custody and the Amber Alert has been canceled. Officials will only say that Anthony Lopez was found safe, no other information regarding the incident has been released at this time.

3-year-old Anthony Hernandez
An Amber Alert has been issued for 3-year-old Anthony Hernandez (10/1/2008). He is described as a white male, standing 2 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 38lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a yellow tank top, black shorts with yellow stripes, and yellow 'Spongebob Square Pants' crocks.

He was last seen in the 600 block of S 6th Street in Arkansas City, Kansas, 67005, late Saturday, June 30th, 2012.

Authorities say the suspect is Francisco Lopez, a 33-year-old (January 1979) white male, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 200lbs, with brown hair and a bald head. Lopez was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt and dark blue shorts. Lopez is Anthony's non-custodial Father according to local Police.

The suspect owns a white 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier bearing on Oklahoma license plate of 336 HPW. Police say a reflector on the rear of the vehicle between the rear brake lights is broken.

Authorities say the suspect is possibly headed to Yonkers, New York after a domestic dispute in Arkansas City, Kansas. Unknown direction of travel.

Kansas City, Missouri Police issued an Amber Alert on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 for a missing 10-month-old girl. Lisa Irwin was last seen in a purple shirt with white kittens on it. She was last seen Monday, October 3, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. asleep in her crib. She was discovered to be missing around 4 a.m. the next morning. The Amber Alert expired just before 7 p.m. Tuesday however, the Police are still searching for the whereabouts of the baby and continue to ask for the public to be on the lookout.

Lisa has blue eyes, blonde hair, approximately 30 inches tall, weighing between 26-30lbs. She has two bottom teeth, a beauty mark on right outer thigh, a small bug bite under her left ear and she has a cold with a cough.

Police say "It appears the suspect entered and exited through a bedroom window. Evidence at that scene leads Police to believe the child has been abducted." According to Kansas City, Missouri's News Release. Police were called to an address in the 3600 block of North Lister Avenue at 4 a.m. Tuesday, October 4th.

Lisa Irwin is now 12-months-old.

As of Thursday, October 20, 2011, Kansas City, Missouri Police say that the rumors spreading around are false. There HAS NOT been a body located "We are still searching for the baby" says a statement released this morning.

AMBER ALERT: 4-Month old taken after his mother was stabbed

UPDATE: 1:30 p.m.  
Police have advised that the standoff situation has ended and the male suspect is in Police custody.


UPDATE: 6:15 a.m.
One person has been taken into custody during the standoff situation. The person is not the suspect. It is unclear as to what this person's connection to the situation is at this time. Suspect still believed to be held up in the residence.


UPDATE: 6:05 a.m.
Kansas City Police are now in a standoff situation with a subject believed to be the suspect. Standoff is in the area of where the child was safely located and also where the suspect vehicle was located. NE 51st Street and N Corrington Avenue in the Northland.


UPDATE: 5:40 a.m.
The AMBER ALERT has been canceled. The child has been located safe in the area of NE 51st Street and N Corrington Avenue in the KC North. The suspect remains at large at this time.

Original Story: 4:30 a.m.
Just before 2:15 a.m. Monday, June 13th, Kansas City, Missouri Police responded to 3635 Sunrise Drive on reports of a cutting. Police arrived to find a female victim with a severe knife wound to the neck. She is in Critical Condition this morning at an area hospital. The was able to communicate to Police that her live in boyfriend had stabbed her and then taken their 4-month old son. The suspect fled in the victim's mother's vehicle for an unknown destination.

Kansas City, Missouri Police have issued an Amber Alert for 4 month old John Michael Glorioso, a white male born February 1st, 2011. The child has brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a lime green "Tigger" (Winnie the Poof character) pajamas.

The child's father, 24-year-old Eric D. Yeager is the suspect. Yeager is a white male born September 25th, 1986 and is described as 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds

The suspect was believed to have been driving a white, 2002 Honda CRV with Missouri License Plates "MC4 Z7M".. That vehicle has been located at NE 51st Street and N Corrington Avenue in the KC North. The suspect and child were not inside the vehicle.
