Police initially responded following a report of one employee threatening another employee with a gun.
Sergeant Bryan Hill says officers were dispatched at 9:51 p.m. on a report of an aggravated assault.
Officers arrived and stopped a possible suspect vehicle in the parking lot. After stopping the vehicle, a single gunshot was heard from the suspect's vehicle.

Officers evacuated about 30 people from inside the Houlihan's, through a back door. At least one other nearby business was evacuated.
The Olathe Tactical Support Unit was called to the scene and secured the subject's weapon, inside the vehicle.
Johnson County Med-Act transported the subject to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
The subject has been identified as a 27-year-old Houlihan's employee and Overland Park resident. Police say he died at the hospital, early Thursday morning.
During the situation, several area roads were closed, including 119th Street between Interstate 35 and Renner Boulevard. Renner Boulevard was also closed between 119th Street and Bass Pro Drive. All roads reopened shortly after 12 a.m. Thursday.
