Olathe Police have released their results of a DUI check lane from this last weekend. The check lane was held in the eastbound lanes of Santa Fe Street at N. Lindenwood Drive, just east of Interstate 35.
Olathe Police also conducted alcohol compliance checks at local businesses which sell alcohol. More information regarding those compliance checks can be found here.

The check lane was made possible by grant funding from the Kansas Department of Transportation. Olathe officers were assisted by personnel from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office along with other agencies, both municipal and state that operate in Johnson County.
Olathe Police say they will continue to operate DUI check lanes and conduct saturation patrols throughout the year as part of their ongoing traffic safety program and their affiliation with the Kansas Department of Transportation , Bureau of Traffic Safety.
