Missouri man charged in Overland Park Bank Robbery

Overland Park Police say 28-year-old, Jason Perkins has been charged with one count of armed robbery.

Federal Prosecutors allege that on November 8th, Perkins was armed with a 9mm handgun and robbed the First National Bank in Overland Park, located at 9700 Metcalf Avenue.

A tip, two days later, led Police to Perkins' Raytown, Missouri apartment. Inside the apartment Police say they recovered a 9mm handgun and money that was stained from a dye pack.

Prosecutors say that Perkins could face as much as 25 years in Federal Prison and a $250,000 fine.
