Three of four in Ottawa County jail break back in custody

UPDATE: All four escaped inmates back in custody.

The Kansas Department of Corrections says that Santos Carrera Morales has was apprehended around 11:40 p.m. Thursday.

KDOC says that Carrera Morales was spotted by a citizen in Russell, Kansas. The citizen called authorities, where were able to take him into custody. No other information surrounding the apprehension was immediately available.
Carrera Morales was 17-years-old when he was convicted of first degree murder in the March 2007 deaths of  two Sedgwick County teenagers.

KDOC says all escapees should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call 911, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-572-7463 or the Ellsworth Correctional Facility at 785-472-5501.
