At 6:20 a.m., Saturday Morning, Leawood Police were called to an address in the 12600 block of Fairway Street. The caller reported a juvenile male subject who was "out of control" and refusing to leave the address.

Leawood Police arrived and were confronted by an "extremely intoxicated male." That male became combative with the officers who requested emergency assistance at that time. The call for assistance was relayed to Police Officers throughout Johnson County. Officers from Olathe, Lenexa, Prairie Village and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office all sent Officers to assist. All of those officers were allowed to disregard the call a few minutes later and the situation was reported to be stable.

Leawood Officers reported that they tazed the juvenile three times. Reports indicate that the male is a "17-year-old" who had reportedly consumed numerous illegal narcotics with alcohol. He was transported by Med-Act, to an area hospital for further evaluation. One Police Officer was reportedly "popped in the eye" while on the scene. The officers injuries were considered minor and he refused any treatment on scene.
